A brilliant student, Prithvi attends the Vansaj of Eklavya who can hit targets with a bow and arrow by merely hearing them which is also known as Shabd Bhedi Baan Vidya. They offer prayers and seek blessings from the God for a child. Someshwar and Kamlavati are worried about not having an heir. Kamlavati is married to Someshwar Chauhan of Ajmer and Roopsundari to Vijaypal of Kannauj. Roopsundari and Kamlavati are daughters of the King of Delhi, Anangpal I.

The serial is based on the tales of the three most powerful ruling Rajput families of that time: those of Ajmer, Kannauj and Delhi.
